I have a home made charcoal retort made from a 55 gallon steel barrel and a 2 inch ? metal pipe. I have made a couple loads of chunk charcoal and they turned out good. You can use it for grilling, or in a forge. I originally was interested in making a gasifier as they did during the early wars to run their cars, buses and even tractors when gasoline wasn't available. I'm contemplating moving so I don't need it anymore. I'm asking $20 or OBO! You will need a sturdy trailer to haul it. I can help load it with my tractor.
