The answers to the most common questions:
As these are a heritage breed they take a bit longer to grow out than current commercial breeds.
Hens produce more than 120 eggs a year if weather and coop conditions are right.
Earliest a young hen has laid for me was March 1st for a hatch on April 1st.
Turkeys need a higher protein to grow well, we start at 30%
and scale that back to 22% by mixing it as they age.
The older they are the easier it is to tell their sex;
up until I start mixing groups,
then with size differences and stages of grown it becomes difficult.
we tend to butcher hens between 20 and 22 weeks of age
we tend to butcher jakes / toms by 28 weeks of age

Done hatching turkeys, so this is what is available.
Will raise up those who remain for meat.

We have frozen turkeys available whole and parted out.
along with duck, Muscovy, rabbit and other animals we raise.

Prices will be updated weekly to cover care and feed. last updated 06/15
