I've been told that this is how they started the series before they moved this style to the Street Beat.
Also, I've been told that it's a knock-off. Nevertheless, it's an excellent skinning knife. I've used it several times and haven't had to sharpen it yet.
I still have the box it came in. It says that it's from Golden, Colorado.
